Donation Challenge

Are you ready to take the DONATION CHALLENGE?

Would you ask your hair dresser, favorite restaurant, nail salon, masseuse, housekeeper, winery, gardener, bakery, coffee shop, etc for a donation?

Do you have concert tickets, a vacation rental/timeshare, unused gift cards, sporting tickets, etc?

What about your business or your friends business – can you donate your services or will your friend donate his or her services?

DONATION CHALLENGE: If you can secure at least 10 donations, with a total minimum aggregate value that exceeds $500, your name will be in a drawing for a one night stay at the Concord Hilton! The CHALLENGE will run from today, Sunday September 24th – Friday, October 6th. I will give a $5 Peet’s gift card to the first 10 people who email me to accept this challenge (challenge must be met by 10/6).

Auction is coming!

The excitement is building for Sequoia Middle School’s “Sock Hop” dinner, dance & auction – Saturday, November 4th, 2017 — at the Concord Hilton.

Are you ready?

This year’s theme is the Fabulous 50’s Sock Hop – all guests are invited to dress in 50’s themed attire, so dust off your dancing shoes, leather jackets and your poodle skirts and get ready to party with a purpose!

Parent Patrol NOW OPEN

SEQUOIA MIDDLE SCHOOL-PARENT PATROL VOLUNTEER SIGNUPS- 2017-2018

Sign-Up Online Before Registration

Each family is required to sign up for one two-hour Parent Patrol per child attending Sequoia Middle School, prior to Registration. Parent Patrollers help monitor the common areas (blacktop, etc.) during lunch to ensure safety and appropriate behavior.

To sign up for Parent Patrol, please log on to:

and follow the instructions.  Print out the page with your date and bring
to Registration.

Parents unable or unwilling to register for their Parent Patrol day(s) will need to apply for a hardship excuse before Registration. You must submit your request in writing to the school office: Include your name, phone number, child’s name and reason IN WRITING, Attention: Mr. Honey, Principal. Excuses will be authorized by the school administration on a limited basis for those parents who cannot commit for one day due to extenuating circumstances. Only those parents with an authorized hardship excuse will be allowed to complete the Registration process and pick-up their student’s schedule.  There will be no excuses authorized on Registration days.

Resignation can be an easy and simple process, IF you are prepared.  With that in mind, please review the following:

STEP 1:  

First you will access your homelink account.  Homelink instructions will be mailed to you home on August 1, 2107.  From Homelink:   Print your child’s EMERGENCY CARD (sign and date)and bring to your Walk-Thru Registration, Aug 14th /Aug 15th.  Not having the printed Emergency Card updated and printed prior to Walk-Thru, will DELAY your registration experience.  NOTE:  If you are unable to print, or do not have access to a computer, or are unable to do the Data Verification prior to Walk-Thru, Sequoia Middle School will have access for you during Walkthrough registration. Proceed directly to Room B4  to complete Online Registration via the Homelink portal. You can also sign up for Parent Patrol at that time.

STEP 2:

If you have a 6th grader, there will be a MANDATORY RESIDENCY VERIFICATION at walk through registration.  Click Residency Check letter for documents REQUIRED at walkthrough Registration.

Step 3:

Now that you have verified your Residency (6th grade families only), proceed directly to the Gym to turn in your updated Emergency Card and signed Parent Support Agreement.  You will also turn in your PFC Volunteer Form , make donations, pick up your child’s class schedule, and lastly, pickup your child’s books.
