SMS Families! We are so pleased to share that our middle school volleyball league is back for its second year! Registration is now open, practices kick off the week of January 12th and the season will run through the week of February 23rd. New this year – your student can register for the BEGINNER league (6th/7th) or the ADVANCED (7th/8th) league.

Teams will practice once per week (after school, on campus) and there will be weekly games on Fridays at PHMS. The focus will be on teaching volleyball fundamentals, elevating players’ physical abilities and helping kids work together as a team. Questions or Scholarship Requests? We are holding a Dine and Donate Fundraiser with Mountain Mike’s Pizza on October 31^st – November 2^nd (Halloween weekend)! Hosting a Halloween party or don’t feel like cooking, don’t worry Mountain Mike’s has you covered! Please don’t forget to mention Sequioa Middle School. See the flyer for all the details.

Otis Spunkmeyer orders are coming in on Wednesday, October 29^th. We need your help with sorting and distributing! Please check out the slots available and sign up if you can!

Our 1st General Meeting is on Wednesday, September 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the Library! We will have a special guest speaker from the Pleasant Hill Police Department. We hope to see you there!

Join us on Monday, September 8^th at Jack’s Restaurant and Bar in Pleasant Hill for lunch or dinner (dine in or take out) and 15% will be donated back to the school. Don’t forget to mention Sequoia Middle School or show them the flyer!

Friday is going to be hot. Cool down after school with a Snowie East Bay shaved ice or frozen lemonade and a portion of your purchase will be given back to the PFC!

Back to School Night is TONIGHT from 6:15-8:30 p.m. Stop by our table near the MUR to learn how you can support students through donations and volunteering!

Also stop by the bake sale and pick up a little treat for yourself or bring something home to the kid(s).
